In addition to being a blog about freaky and fun things to do in Houston, I would also like to use this blog to support certain social issues that are important to me and probably to freaks everywhere. With that in mind, lets talk about the reform of Marijuana laws. Prohibition has not worked in the past and it is not working now. I think it is time to reform our marijuana laws. Medical research continues to show that cannabis is a valuable adjunct in the treatment of many medical conditions. Marijuana is much less harmful that other drugs that are currently legal. We are missing a huge opportunity in Industrial Hemp. More importantly, we are destroying people’s lives in this war on drugs. There are many organizations that are working toward the reform of marijuana laws. Here are a couple that you might find interesting.
