Hello Freaks,

I know I don’t live in this district but I wanted to talk about the Congressional race in the 21st District of Texas which is an area northeast of San Antonio. The current representative of this district is Lamar Smith. I think we need to work hard to defeat him this year. Here are some of my objections to him staying in Congress

• As chairman of the House Committee on the Judiciary, he refused to consider or hold a hearing for the Ending Federal Marijuana Prohibition Act of 2011.
• He was one of the congressmen that introduced the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA)
• He also introduced the Protecting Children from Internet Pornographers Act of 2011.  While I am completely in favor of protecting children from internet pornographers, this bill had serious privacy implications for anyone using the internet.
• He is also anti-choice
